Ami and Alex: A Kentish Micro Wedding

There's something incredibly special about intimate weddings; the smaller guest list gives the day a personal touch that's harder to replicate at larger events. This was perfectly demonstrated at Ami and Alex's intimate micro wedding in Fordwich, Kent, on the bank of the River Stour. With just 20 guests, their wedding day was a beautiful celebration that epitomised the often exaggerated expression of 'nearest and dearest'. πŸ‘Œ

Their wedding took place in September 2023 in the historic 15th century Fordwich Town Hall in Kent; officially the smallest town in England! Picture a charming venue rich in history; it even features its own gaol (jail) last used in 1855 for two men convicted of poaching! The ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and full of joy. There were tears, laughter, and plenty of love. ☺️

After a delicious lunch at the nearby Fordwich Arms, the party moved to Alex's nearby family home to continue the celebrations. As newlyweds, Ami and Alex radiated happiness. Their joy was infectious, spreading to every person present. The intimate setting allowed for a deeper connection between the guests and the happy couple, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere that persisted throughout the day. 😊

And here's the exciting part - we've been invited back to capture Ami and Alex's second wedding celebration, this time at the fabulous Southdowns Manor in East Hampshire, over the Easter weekend at the end of the month! We can't wait to see how they bring their unique style and love for each other, and for their family and friends, to an altogether different venue. Stay tuned for more photos from that day over the coming months! πŸ“Έ

Needless to say, Ami and Alex's wedding was a testament to the beauty of intimate, personal celebrations. It's a reminder that weddings are about love, connection, and sharing those precious moments with your nearest and dearest. And we were fortunate enough to be a part of their special day, capturing those moments in pictures that they'll treasure for a lifetime. πŸ₯°
